AKRON MUNICIPAL COURT

AKRON, OHIO

ESTABLISHED IN 1910

In 1910 the legislature established a police court in Akron under the ordinances of the city and all misdemeanors committed within the limits of Summit County.

It has evolved to cover the cities of Akron, Fairlawn, the townships of Bath, Richfield, Springfield, the villages of Lakemore, and Richfield, and a part of Mogadore. Six judges currently sit in this court.
